On September 26th, 2018, PHH and Networking 4 Kids – West, decided to give back to our community. The entire N4K West group provided breakfast for Ronald McDonald House in Fort Worth. At the time, there were 75 families staying at the home.
Most of the families who stay in the RMH travel from far away because one of the home’s requirements for families to stay is them living at least 70 miles away. Some families have been there months waiting for their loved ones to have serious surgery, stabilization or discharge.
It was such a great thing to see all of the different companies who held children come together. We all had tasks to perform to make a delicious breakfast for the families: prepping, cooking, serving, and cleaning. River Kids Therapy provided the food. In lieu of the rest of us bringing food, every organization donated to the RMH’s Wishlist: liquid bleach, paper towels, toilet paper, paper napkins, aluminum foil, plastic silverware, laundry detergent, and more. It was such a rewarding experience, and we are honored to be part of this great networking team!
