A Message from our Founder / President & CEO, Thomas Wheat
Home healthcare is care or supportive care provided in the patient’s home by healthcare professionals. Home healthcare aims to make it possible for people to remain at home rather than use residential, long-term, or institutional-based nursing care. Home healthcare providers render services in the client’s own home. These services may include some combination of professional healthcare services and life assistance services. Professional home health services could include medical care, wound care, medication teaching, pain management, disease education and management, physical therapy, speech therapy, or occupational therapy.
Pediatric Home Healthcare only delivers skilled private duty nursing provided by Licensed Vocational Nurses and Registered Nurses. As a provider of home healthcare services, we network with various other enterprises and are able to provide families of medically fragile children with information regarding therapy providers, durable medical equipment providers and other various specialties.
