The Cowtown Society is one of the most prestigious awards dinner in Fort Worth. Now, with more than 100 of Fort Worth’s most influential young leaders in attendance, The Cowtown Society makes a strong investment in the lives of those living with CF.
Their mission is to find a cure for Cystic Fibrosis and provide all people with the disease the opportunity to lead full, productive lives by funding research and drug development, promoting individualized treatment and ensuring access to high quality of specialized care. Real progress towards a cure has been made, but the lives of young people with CF are still cut far too short.
In this year’s event, they recognized 15 of Fort Worth’s most accomplished men and women who show exemplary leadership, active in their community and excellence in their profession or business. The Cowtown Society is a network of business and community leaders under 40 who have been recognized by others for their contribution to the community. Last year they raised nearly $25,000! Their goal this year was to raise $50,000 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
