Pediatric Home Healthcare, LLC announced the acquisition of Villa Children’s Therapy. This makes it the second pediatric therapy services company that Pediatric Home Healthcare (PHH), has acquired. In 2009, PHH acquired Texas Kids Home Therapy.
Villa Children’s Therapy is in El Paso, Texas, and serves El Paso and surrounding communities by offering three pediatric therapy disciplines: Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Physical Therapy services. These services may occur in the Villa clinic, in the patient’s home, or via telehealth, providing the patient with the best option for their service.
“We are thrilled to have Villa Children’s Therapy join the PHH family of companies,” said Thomas Wheat, Founder, President, and CEO of Pediatric Home Healthcare, LLC. “We are excited to serve the El Paso market and expand our service reach by caring for more kiddos. Villa’s positive spirit and culture align perfectly with PHH’s commitment to providing the best service and care for the children and families we serve.”
Villa was founded in 2009 by Georgina Barrera, a Speech-Language Pathologist. She worked in private practice for many years before starting her own company. “I’m excited for us to join Pediatric Home Healthcare,” said Georgina, “The therapists have additional operational support and technology platforms to utilize as part of a larger company, yet still live and work in our same community with our kids and families – it’s a great partnership for us!”
